ISH Student Elected to Copenhagen Youth Parliament
We’re proud to share that Hector Wielechowski, a dedicated and driven ISH student in his final year of the IB Diploma Programme, has been elected to UngeRådet, Copenhagen’s Youth Parliament!
Hector brings a unique perspective shaped by 13 years at our school. His exposure to diverse cultures and problem-solving approaches has fueled a strong passion for finding innovative solutions to some of Copenhagen’s most pressing challenges, especially in sustainability and urban development.
With experience leading impactful green initiatives, such as the Climate Committee he co-founded at ISH as part of the student council, Hector will now represent the youth of Copenhagen at Rådhuset (City Hall). His vision includes expanding green spaces throughout the city center, advocating for affordable public transport, and promoting an education system that supports circularity and a 'green transition.'
A big congratulations to Hector, and thank you to everyone who supported his campaign! We look forward to following his journey in UngeRådet and are incredibly proud of his commitment to positive change in our community.
