ISH Summer Programme 2023
Learning, Adventure, Friendship and Fun!
The International School of Hellerup Summer Programme, aimed at children aged 4-12, provides an active and engaging time of learning, adventure and summer fun in a caring and supportive environment. The programme is delivered in English and runs for seven weeks from June 26th until August 4th (August 11th for ISH families).
The ISH Summer Programme is open to all children, including ISH students, students from other schools and children visiting the Copenhagen area. Our qualified teachers and pedagogues are dedicated to ensuring that your child will have an enjoyable and enriching experience with plenty of opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills, have lots of fun and stay healthy during the summer holidays. The ISH Summer Programme is divided into:
- Summer CARE (for students aged 4-10) - a programme with daily activities, crafts and educational games organised in a child-centred setting where students influence what activities will take place based on their interests. The CARE programme is offered from June 26th – August 4th (August 11 for ISH families) and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 – 16:30.
- Summer CAMPS (for students aged 7-12) -a series of week-long, thematic workshops led by qualified teaching staff or coaches. Students experiment in a cooperative environment that takes learning outside the classroom. At the end of the camp week, the participating students display their work to each other and their parents. The CAMP programme is offered fromJune 26th – August 4th (August 11th for ISH families) and is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 – 16:00.
Children are signed up on a weekly basis so your family can choose summer activities according to your schedule. It is possible to mix and match CARE and CAMP weeks according to your child’s interests and needs. Early registration is encouraged since some of the summer camps have a limited number of spots available. Registration closes on June 11th, 2023. Register by May 20th for an automatic Early Bird discount on your course fees. The first 50 students to sign up will get a free ISH Summer Programme T-shirt!
